Accountabilities
7. Lead the design and development of complex end device systems. smart meters, sensors and actuators, control devices, communication devices.
8. Lead technical project planning, support technical delivery managers in project planning activities & be technical lead for execution of such plans.
9. Resolve advanced technical issues and provide expert troubleshooting.
10. Lead the implementation of end device systems and infrastructure.
11. Ensure technical documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
12. Lead project planning and execution.
13. Conduct solution reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
15. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
16. Maintain and optimise end device systems.
17. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
18. Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting from junior engineers.
Skills
19. End device engineering - knowledge of end device systems and infrastructure
20. Diagnostic tools & technical problem solving skills - proficiency in diagnostic engineering tools and software
21. IoT Communication Protocols - knowledge of IoT standards in LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, RF or Cellular IoT technologies
22. RF Theory - knowledge of RF fundamentals
23. Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
24. Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
25. Attention to detail - keen attention to detail in identifying defects and ensuring accuracy
26. Project management - ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines
Knowledge & Experience
27. Established experience in IoT end device engineering or a related field.
28. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in end device systems relating to LoRaWAN, NB-IoT or Cellular IoT technologies.
29. Proven track record of successful project delivery.
30. Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
31. Familiarity with AWS systems is a plus.

Qualifications: A degree (or equivalent experience) in Systems
Engineering, Electronics, or a related field is advantageous.
