Your Role as a Material Planner As a Material Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials to meet demand. Your key responsibilities will include: * Reviewing materials planning panels daily to align supply with demand. * Releasing new purchase orders for whole goods to meet delivery timelines. * Managing supplier order boards, updating planning systems, and processing purchase order changes. * Providing accurate updates to customer order management teams. * Collaborating in end-to-end planning meetings and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Additional Responsibilities * Aligning supply plans with demand plans to optimise inventory levels. * Monitoring abnormal demand signals and stock levels to adjust plans accordingly. * Running simulations to analyse planning parameter changes and presenting findings to stakeholders. * Be involved in the active H&S process endorsement and practice promotion * Contributing to quality, safety, and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have: * 3-5 years of relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or inventory control. * Proficiency in materials planning systems and tools such as Excel, Access, or TOAD. * Strong competencies in communication, results-driven approaches, and managing complexity. * Requires significant relevant work experience or specialised skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control.
