The Role
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. Responsibilities include monitoring the condition of GBS buildings, undertaking repairs and renovations, assisting Estates and Facilities in refurbishment planning, and traveling to other GBS UK campuses as required. The role demands flexible working to accommodate business operations and involves a 40‑hour week, covering campus operating hours from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, with occasional out‑of‑hours work to minimise disruption and ensure smooth completion of maintenance tasks.

Experience And Skills Required
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard
* Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems
* Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques
* A flexible and proactive approach to work with a "can do" attitude
* Familiarity with COSHH requirements for the equipment and chemicals being used
* Interpersonal skill and ability to work on your own but also as part of the facilities wider team
* Full, Clean Driving License
