The successful applicant will be able to choose the most convenient base school location. You will become a key member of the Laurus Trust family, and will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of dedicated IT professionals who support and service the IT function in a fast-paced environment across 6 secondary, 6 primary, 4 sixth forms and 1 alternative provision schools for over 10,000 users. Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below) To support the IT Director with monitoring, development, maintenance and delivery of a responsive, effective and compliant IT provision across the Trust for all stakeholders. Responsible for managing a team of IT Technicians and IT Team Leaders to ensure that they provide a high-quality service across all schools in the Trust. To ensure that legal and contractual obligations relating to IT resources, systems and services are met. Key Skills & Experience Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (AC) or equivalent. Alongside evidence of continued professional development. Proven experience of maintaining and supporting PC, server and networking equipment. Strong understanding of computer networks and operating systems, usage and equipment configuration including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11 and macOS.
