Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a growing organisation based in Banbury to recruit a Group Management Accountant. The Group Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £75,000 along with other attractive benefits.
This is a varied role and would suit an individual who enjoys getting stuck into all elements of a robust finance function.
Primary responsibilities;
1. Monthly accounts (P&L and BS)
2. Work closely with the senior management team and department heads, reporting and reviewing income and spend at both detailed and summary level.
3. Monthly returns and reporting
4. Financial planning and analysis
5. Fixed Asset control
6. Cash flow forecasting
7. Finance Policies / controls
8. Finance team management (Finance assistants)
9. Assisting with the preparation of Statutory accounts
10. Involvement with corporation tax calculations and other tax matters
11. Liaising with the Auditors and other third parties relating to audit matters
Key experience and attributes;
12. Significant knowledge of Management Accounting
13. Experience of preparing reports and analysis for presentation to senior management
14. Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) (Essential)
15. A high level of computer literacy - needs to be a proficient user of financial systems & competent in the Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint.
16. Advanced Excel skills including look- ups, pivot tables and use of advanced formulae.
17. Experience of Sage50 (desirable)
18. Ability to thrive in a faced paced environment.
19. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
20. Confident dealing with colleagues of all levels
