About Our Client
RoS is a Central Government department of the Scottish Government, employing around 1,100 colleagues. It is responsible for compiling and maintaining records related to property and other legal documents. The main registers, the Register of Sasines and the Land Register, contain records related to land and property ownership in Scotland. The land register is a state-guaranteed, map-based register that is gradually replacing the Sasines register as the Scottish national land register. These registers dominate the work of Registers of Scotland. Other registers handle various legal documents, including personal debt, bankruptcy, commercial contracts, wills, and separation agreements.
