We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity to join our Small Group Homes within Stoke‑on‑Trent City Council. We’re looking for dedicated, resilient and values‑driven colleagues who are ready to step‑up and make a real difference for children with complex needs.


Salary and Allowances

The full‑time salary is £36,363 – £39,152 (full time) + Allowance for weekend working, 12.5 % shift allowance and sleep‑in payments as determined by home worked in (Allowances will be paid as appropriate which will be reviewed periodically)


Hours

Average of 37 hours per week. You will work on a rota which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will also be required to sleep in when rostered to do so.


Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work as part of a rota, supporting the Registered Manager to run the home and drive positive outcomes for the children in our care. You’ll be part of a tight‑knit, high‑performing leadership team who will invest in your growth from day one through robust induction, quality training and ongoing professional development. If you’re someone who thrives in challenging situations, brings empathy and consistency, and can support teams through complex behaviours, you’ll fit right in.
