Description

The ServiceNow Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of work through sprints and will lead the stewardship of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. The successful candidate will oversee the cohesion of multiple technology/service modules and serve as the guiding force for the ServiceNow platform. This role requires balancing priorities, negotiating deliverable expectations, ensuring timely delivery of functionality according to milestones, and maintaining ongoing communication with key stakeholders.

Note: This role offers flexible work arrangements, but candidates should be local to the Washington DC metro area.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5 years of hands-on experience managing a ServiceNow Agile development team, with direct responsibility for daily management and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
* 3 years of experience in Agile Methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
* 5 years of experience working with clients in a consultative manner to solve business problems using technology and data-driven techniques.
* 5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform development in an enterprise environment.
* Strong expertise in ServiceNow applications: Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Hardware and Software Asset Management, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Security Operations (SecOps), and Performance Analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

* Support portfolio work, facilitate training, and promote adoption of the ServiceNow product stack.
* Manage workflow alongside the Project Owner and stakeholders, ensuring a ready backlog of features.
* Define a clear, big-picture, product-based roadmap.
* Develop and present progress reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
* Maintain and communicate the product roadmap and vision.
* Manage expectations during the development lifecycle, including module rationalization, requirements gathering, and delivery aligned with business strategy.
* Lead end-to-end implementation and operationalization of ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
* Identify risks, communicate them, and develop mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with ServiceNow Solution Architects to define technical requirements and solutions.
* Guide configuration and deployment of ServiceNow solutions, environments, and non-functional areas.
* Serve as escalation point for ServiceNow issues.
* Understand business needs, define scope, and develop project plans with resource estimates.
* Coach and motivate Scrum team members, fostering continuous communication.
* Engage actively with the Scrum team to improve velocity and monitor Agile metrics.
* Ensure quality of testing plans based on business requirements.

Additional Information

* Candidates must be authorized to work in the US to meet clearance requirements.
* All candidates will undergo a comprehensive background check, including criminal, education, professional certifications, employment, and credit history.
* Public Trust background investigations may take 4-8 weeks and involve fingerprinting.

Other Information

* Salary range: $110,000 - $180,000 annually.
* Flexible work arrangement, primarily remote, with occasional on-site support as needed.
