Summary:
A market‑leading organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Data to join on an initial six‑month engagement at a pivotal point in its growth journey. The business is transitioning through a period of increasing structural and data maturity, requiring strong strategic leadership to shape its future data capability.
The successful consultant will lead the Data & Analytics, setting direction and delivering a multi‑year roadmap that enables the organisation to scale with confidence.
This assignment is well‑suited to a senior data leader who enjoys operating in scale‑up environments and has experience delivering transformation within highly regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, or Energy & Utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and deliver the enterprise Data, Analytics & AI strategy (2025–2030), aligned to business outcomes.
* Define and embed an industry‑leading data operating model, capabilities, and standards.
* Lead delivery of high‑value data initiatives including platforms, self‑service analytics, and advanced analytics foundations.
* Partner with executive leaders to enable data‑driven decision‑making across all product lines.
* Lead and grow a high‑performing central Data & Analytics organisation with clear ownership and accountability.
* Own data governance, quality, security, and compliance with Group standards.
* Champion a strong data culture, community, and enterprise‑wide data literacy.
