Overview
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick seeks a Research Finance Assistant. The role provides administrative support for the research function, primarily the financial management of research grants and contracts, and support for grant investigators. Flexible working options may be considered, including part-time or other arrangements, despite the position being advertised as full-time.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative assistance for the research function and support the financial management of research grants and contracts.
* Assist grant investigators with related administrative tasks and compliance with established procedures.
* Use a range of IT systems; adapt quickly to new systems with training provided.
About You / Qualifications
* Educated to at least GCSE level in Maths and English.
* Ability to communicate with staff and students in a conscientious and inclusive way.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise work while following set regulations and procedures.
* Willingness to learn new IT systems; training will be provided.
