Overview
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will join a growing power systems team focused on delivering expert-level support for UPS and generator solutions. If you're technically sharp, customer-focused, and experienced with AC/DC systems, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
* Provide timely technical support to internal teams, customers, engineers, and contractors
* Prepare documentation, CAD drawings, and risk assessments for new or ongoing projects
* Help develop training content and product documentation
* Support pre- and post-sales technical queries and product testing
* Assist with system configuration, design input, and software tool management
* Take part in a 24/7 technical support rota when required (remote monitoring & on-call)
Education And Experience Requirements
* Background in electrical or electronic engineering (degree or hands-on experience)
* Experience working with diesel generators or related power systems
* Experience with Deep Sea and ComAp controllers is highly desirable
* Confident using CAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP tools (e.g., Sage)
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work across teams and under pressure with a strong customer focus
* Previous exposure to technical documentation and safety procedures is a plus
