The role of the Bid Executive is crucial to the ongoing success and future growth of Parkingeye. Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bid response process for specified contracts, developing and maintaining a knowledge base of standard answers and templates, and identifying ways to improve the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the bid response process. As a key interface with prospective customers, you will set the standards in customer service. To do this effectively, you will need to liaise with other teams and senior stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.

This is a hybrid role, involving working from home and at our Head Office in Chorley.


Duties include:

1. Drive the bid process for specified contracts and be the first point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
2. Complete PQQs, EOI, and preliminary market engagement questionnaires.
3. Draft tender responses, coordinate and review drafts from external partners, and oversee final drafts.
4. Support the bid process for other contracts.
5. Organize meetings with relevant stakeholders to meet bid deadlines, ensuring Board sign-off is completed 48 hours before submission.
6. Lead kickoff meetings for specific contracts.
7. Distribute clarification questions internally and update solutions accordingly.
8. Engage with key business stakeholders to ensure bid submissions are competitive and profitable.
9. Maintain a bid library with answers and templates for future use.
10. Create templates for less complex bid responses and add them to the library.
11. Develop knowledge of the business, products, and services by reviewing previous bids and collaborating with sales, technical, and commercial teams.
12. Lead as Framework Manager and report monthly on contracted business.
13. Conduct bid/no-bid reviews.
14. Manage portals and notices, source new opportunities, and register the company on new portals.
15. Prepare risk documents before bid kick-offs.
16. Assist the Sales team with presentations and support subsequent meetings until contract award.
17. Organize site visits with relevant personnel.
18. Liaise with technical, sales, account management, and legal teams.
19. Lead handover meetings post-win, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
20. Complete new supplier applications and track tenders for reporting.
21. Stay updated on legislation and bid process improvements.


Candidate Profile:

* At least 2 years of experience in the bid process.
* Excellent communication skills, especially in written English (grammar, spelling, vocabulary).
* Commercial understanding of pricing and profitability.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
