Overview
In this full time Machine Operator role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our paper converting machines, performing checks and ensuring quality meets specifications. You will work a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
Periodically, you will need to make minor adjustments to ensure accuracy, referring to your job cards and completing documentation correctly. To ensure zero harm, you will need to conduct pre-use lifting and equipment guarding checks, maintain housekeeping standards, and submit monthly safety observations.

Responsibilities
Operate paper converting machines to support production goals. Perform checks to ensure quality meets specifications. Refer to job cards and complete documentation accurately. Make minor adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy. Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices. Submit monthly safety observations.
Qualifications
Technical and mechanical mindset to set up machines and efficiently identify faults to minimise downtime.
Experience in a fast-paced FMCG production environment is desirable, particularly with large tissue or paper rewinders.
Critical thinking with an inquisitive mindset (i.e., confidence to challenge) will be valuable.
Ideally, previous experience operating a Converting Line within the tissue or paper industry. If not, candidates from within the Food sector or other FMCG environments will be considered.
