About the Role
An established and growing accountancy and business advisory organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join its Doncaster office. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, providing high-quality financial and advisory services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering hands-on client work while also supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. This role is well suited to an individual who enjoys building strong client relationships and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Produce and review management accounts
Prepare corporation tax computations and submissions
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining trusted relationships
Support and mentor junior colleagues within the team
Identify opportunities to provide additional services and add value to client engagements
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified, or currently studying towards qualification
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
Strong technical accounting knowledge and high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
Well organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
