Responsibilities
* Perform reactive and preventative trade-related duties to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed contractual obligations.
* General plumbing duties, repair works and minor installations of low‑temperature hot water and heating systems.
* Carry out all works to a high standard, completing them competently and leaving the site clean and tidy.
* Liaise with other staff and external contractors cooperatively to ensure timely and proper completion of works.
* Submit all relevant paperwork, job/time sheets and any necessary certification in a timely manner.
* Work with the line manager and provide advice and information relating to technical matters.
* Maintain valid qualifications and arrange necessary training in accordance with relevant timescales.
* Attend meetings, training sessions and conferences as required.
* Order required materials from suppliers efficiently following the company's purchasing procedures.
* Act at all times in accordance with the Group’s rules, policies, procedures and ethos.
* Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture, understanding responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of the team and the wider group.
Qualifications
* Trade related Qualification Essential
* CCN1 (or COCDN1), COCN1 (or CODNCO1), CIGA1, CDGA1LL, CCCN1, CCLP1
* Experience carrying out trade related maintenance, installation and fault finds.
* Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works/tasks completed within KPIs.
* Understanding of safety regulations.
* Knowledge of different maintenance techniques.
* Ability to work to set targets.
* Excellent customer service.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
* Initiative to problem‑solve.
