Hours: 35 hours per week. Working a 3-week rota, including evening & weekend working

Pay details:£30,984.86 - £34,917.78 plus NSWP £1,331

What you’ll do
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be a part of a established team, reporting to the Assistant cluster Manager. You’ll play an essential role in providing effective day to day management of the Kelvin Hall including the Cafe, Soft Play and Climbing facility. You will supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support, assisting them to carry out their function effectively. You will allocate duties and responsibility within the team ensuring that all work is concluded to prescribed standards and timescales while ensuring cognisance of Health & Safety matters. You will take responsibility for the implementation of shift rotas & sickness absence monitoring. You will take responsibility for the procurement of food and beverage products for the Café in line with set financial targets and any other duties that are deemed appropriate to the grade and role. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

We’re looking for:
·Previous supervisory experience of working within a catering, climbing and/or
children’s play environment is essential
·Ability to work on a flexible shift pattern (including regular weekend and
evening working)
·Fun and flexible approach to the demands of a busy children’s indoor activity
centre
·Good interpersonal and communication skills.
·Previous experience working within soft play and/or climbing centre and
delivering small events are desirable
·HNC in Leisure Management, Level 3 Supervising food safety in catering,
knowledge of HACCP, food preparation training and Barista are desirable
