SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) Permanent | Full-Time | ASAP Start or September 2026 | Northamptonshire Working on behalf of a Large Multi-Academy Trust A forward-thinking and highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to join one of its thriving schools on a permanent basis. The Role The successful candidate will lead and manage SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive high-quality support and intervention. You will work closely with senior leaders, teachers, external agencies, and families to drive inclusive practice and positive outcomes for all learners. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the strategic development of SEND provision Identify and assess pupils with special educational needs Coordinate EHCP processes and annual reviews Support staff with effective differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and statutory requirements Promote an inclusive culture across the school community The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete) Proven experience working within a SENCO or SEND leadership role Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice Excellent communication and organisational skills A child-centred and collaborative approach The ability to lead, inspire, and support colleagues effectively The Trust Offers A permanent opportunity within a respected Multi-Academy Trust Supportive and experienced leadership teams Access to excellent CPD and career progression opportunities Collaborative working across a network of schools A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and development Competitive salary package dependent on experience Start Date ASAP or September 2026 How to Apply If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated SENCO looking for your next permanent opportunity within a supportive Multi-Academy Trust, we would love to hear from you.
