Main duties and responsibilities
* Handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, payments, credit control, and treasury processes.
* Carrying out regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial ledgers.
* Ensuring accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
* Providing necessary documentation to support audit procedures.
* Upholding compliance with internal control procedures and recognised accounting standards.
* Communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve and process financial transactions.
Applicants to this role require
* Relevant industry experience in similar role.
* Previous experience using Sage 200 and EFACS preferred, but not essential.
* Ability to work to own initiative.
* Strong organisational skills, ensuring tasks are complete to deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
