Provide support in all aspects of Attorney Recruitment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Working closely with the Senior Manager supporting with all aspects of recruitment processes including:
Attorney Talent Acquisition
* Assist in the preparation of search and offer approvals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
* Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager and key stakeholders to fully understand team hiring needs and to draft job descriptions.
* Source candidates through a variety of channels, including recruitment agencies, employee referrals, and LinkedIn Recruiter, to attract a broad and qualified talent pool.
* Liaise with candidates and recruitment agencies to provide feedback, manage candidate communications, and oversee the interview process.
* Maintain oversight of the interview process, ensuring accurate data entry and timely feedback throughout all stages of recruitment.
* Prepare and issue contracts of employment to successful candidates.
* Conduct pre-employment checks, including conflict checks, background screening, right-to-work verification, and SRA checks for lateral hires, incoming associates, and summer associates.
* Oversee the management of recruitment databases and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with practice groups and external recruitment agencies to support ongoing hiring needs.
* Maintain internal filing systems and applicant tracking systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
* Assist with the process for work authorization applications as required.
* Provide holiday cover for the Senior Manager, ensuring continuity of recruitment operations and decision-making during periods of absence.
* Assist with the Trainee Solicitor programme as required
* Manage the coordination and onboarding process for the US Summer Associate Program, including background and conflict checks, preparation of offer letters, and assistance with visa applications.
* Coordinate the US On-Campus Interview Program in collaboration with our US recruitment teams by overseeing interview scheduling and organizing candidate information packs.
* Coordinate and deliver the US Summer Program, including overseeing the evaluation process, managing offer decisions in collaboration with key stakeholders and attending events.
Other responsibilities
* Assist with administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as required for the Talent Acquisition team
* Update information on various systems, archives files and produce ad-hoc reports
* Assist in the production of confidential documents and sensitive information
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER JOB-RELATED COMPETENCIES
* Experience of direct sourcing and use of LinkedIn Recruiter is advantageous.
* Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
* Proactive and able to adapt to changing business needs and adjust work hours as required
* Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
* Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
* Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Degree level (or equivalent) preferred
* Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in a law firm or other professional services environment
