Community Diabetes Podiatrist - Band 6 - 3 Month Contract
* Job Title: Community Diabetes Podiatrist
* Caseload: Diabetes preferred, other caseloads considered
* WFH: No capability to work from home
* Location: Croydon
* Duration: 3 months
* Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible between 2 and 5 days per week)
* Start Date: June/July 2024
* Rate of pay: £29-30 p/h
Responsibilities
* Conduct autonomous assessments of patients' health conditions.
* Formulate and implement care plans.
* Provide necessary treatment.
* Utilize evidence-based practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date podiatry records in line with professional standards.
* Stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements and qualifications:
* Current and valid HCPC registration as a Podiatrist in the UK
* Previous experience as a podiatrist in the UK or overseas
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to high-quality patient care
Working hours and contract duration:
Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
