JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Assistant Workshop Controller is to:
è Assist the Workshop Controller to manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.
è Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
è Support the Workshop controller in the day to day running of the workshop.
è Contribute towards the effective use of workshop resources for the business.
è Be aware of individual and workshop efficiencies and assist in ensuring key performance indicators are met.
è Assist in planning the distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix.
è Liaise between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
è Assist in the Administration of all paperwork and systems as required.
è Adhere to workshop standards in accordance with brand standards requirements.
è Ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of manufacturer service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators.
è Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge.
è Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Skills & RequirementsEssential

è Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
è Good organisational and leadership skill with the ability to delegate and motivate the team.
è Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure.
è Full UK driving licence.
è Smart appearance.
