Our amazing teams in Stonehaven are looking for new colleagues to join them on a permanent part‑time or full‑time basis. We also have relief opportunities if you’re looking for something a bit more flexible.
You’ll become part of one of our friendly, welcoming teams who support individuals with physical and learning disabilities in their own shared home. There’s never a dull moment and no two days are ever the same.
You’ll support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including meal preparation, personal care, finances, household chores, and playing an active part in their local community. We also need you to be supportive and creative to support their hobbies and interests such as arts & crafts, gardening, going out for walks and getting out and about in the local community.
About You
You don’t need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferable skills. We’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you’ll need. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees.
All we’ll need you to bring
* A caring and compassionate attitude
* The ability to work well in a team
* Great communication and organisational skills
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support.
* Confidence in the use of computers.
Shift Patterns
Shift patterns usually fall into early and back shifts. Sleepovers, public holidays and weekends are required on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £100.80 per sleepover shift worked. If you don’t live in the Stonehaven area and are not a driver, you must be able to travel for your shifts, as public‑transport links are limited.
