Accounts Payable Clerk: 9 month FTC
Location: Leicester
An experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk is needed to join a fast-paced organization based in South Leicestershire. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, we are looking for a candidate with solid Excel skills and a passion for Accounts Payable. This role requires an efficient team player with high accuracy skills. Attention to detail is crucial in this busy environment.
Responsibilities
1. Query Resolution
2. Statement Reconciliation
3. Issuing Payments to Suppliers
4. Matching electronically
5. Processing expenses for internal staff
6. Utilizing intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
7. Performing other ad hoc duties as required
The Candidate
* Practical experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Admin role is essential
* Solid Excel skills; training can be provided for VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
* Excellent time management skills
* Accurate, systematic, and persistent in task completion
* Confident communicator
What is on Offer
* Salary: GBP 24,000 - GBP 26,000 per annum
* 9-month FTC
* Some WFH options available after training
* Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with 1-hour lunch)
* 22 days holiday plus statutory holidays
