CTO | Global SaaS | PE-Backed | Scale & Exit Opportunity Overview: A global SaaS business with 600 people worldwide (130 in Engineering) is entering a pivotal phase: consolidating a multi-product landscape and scaling from ~$100m ARR to ~$200m over the next three years. Backed by a leading private equity firm, this is a rare opportunity to lead the technology function through a major multi-product consolidation and scale-up, directly influencing enterprise value. We’re looking for a strategically minded, technically credible CTO - someone who can turn complexity into clarity, standardise technology, embed engineering discipline, and inspire a culture of excellence across engineering teams. You'll need to have also witnessed such scale too - not necessarily as CTO, potentially as a VP - but had a leading role and know what it takes to achieve this. You’ll partner with the COO, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Architect to design and deliver technology strategy, giving confidence to peers and investors while motivating teams through technical credibility and leadership. Key initiatives will include: Consolidating acquired products into a unified, coherent single sign-on platform Driving cloud migration to AWS and broader technology standardisation Embedding measurable engineering excellence across global teams Aligning strategy with execution in partnership with Product, Security, and leadership Leveraging agentic AI to accelerate delivery and efficiency In terms of the experience we're looking for: A proven technology leader with experience scaling SaaS platforms, ideally in PE-backed businesses. Ability to earn trust and respect across both Engineering teams and the C-Suite, Prior experience leading similar similar transformations - simplifying fragmented products, streamlining platforms, and integrating acquisitions to create clarity and scalability. Strong technical acumen, a modern SaaS mindset, and a pragmatic approach to emerging technologies, including AI, to drive measurable impact. You excel in engineering performance and know what good looks like - embedding metrics, modernising culture, and inspiring teams across distributed environments.
