Description Network Operations Engineer III Hybrid Role - 2 Days/week required in the office Monday - Friday shift Full-time City: Belfast Job Description The Network Operations Engineer III, will be responsible for supporting CME's network infrastructure; through monitoring, troubleshooting and change implementation using Industry Standard, Best Practices. The Network Operations Engineer III will ensure the ongoing operation of service to end users & customers by ensuring that service is operated within agreed service levels, and in alignment to agreed policies, processes, and standards. The role will be key to ensuring the overall platform stability and its sustained delivery to clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Acts as first responders, helping to organize and control incident response. Provides admission control for technical implementations Day to day monitoring and management of our platforms to ensure that internal SLAs, operational KPIs and quality standards are met Handling complex technical support issues Ability to support network faults, to conclusion in a multi vendor, multi-appliance infrastructure Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests Day-to-day Technical Operations activities (including, but not limited to network and firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, infrastructure and firmware updates) Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of customer service at all times Contribute to the overall development of the operational systems and processes Skills & Experience: Essential; Extensive experience in a fast paced, enterprise NOC role (minimum L2/L3 experience) Extensive experience of networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing though advanced knowledge of: R/S: OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, L2 architectures Multicast: PIM-SM, MSDP, AnyCastRP Security: Firewalling, ACLs, industry best practice, Internet architectures Load Balancing: F5 LB, iRules, persistence, etc. VPN: IPSec and SSL Wireless: standards, security, radio placement, etc. Extensive experience of multiple network & firewall technologies, particularly Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5 and Aruba Networks Understanding/experience with ISO and ITIL standards CCNP certification ( or working experience to this level ) Desirable; Cisco certification Fortinet certification Palo Alto certification Aruba certification Benefits Annual Discretionary Bonus Generous CME Group Pension Contribution Comprehensive Bupa Private Medical Cover Private Dental Cover Mental Heath Cover Annual gym membership contribution 25 Days Holiday allowance LI-JC LI-Hybrid nijobs.com CME Group: Where Futures Are Made CME Group (www.cmegroup.com) is the world's leading derivatives marketplace.
