To mechanically inspect Piece Part, Sub Assembly or Final Assembly produced by the Company or its Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to AS9100 and EASA Part 21. Responsible for mechanical inspection of all Company Products, using a wide range of hand measuring tools and other inspection equipment including the CMM.
Responsible for co-ordinating mechanical & electrical calibration with internal customers.
Responsible for developing GRIPs – Goods Inwards Inspection Plans and coordinating with the supplier.
Using Microsoft Office to establish and maintain the supporting records for the company’s calibration system.
Take responsibility for flagging quality control non-conformances to reduce waste.
Undertake the mechanical inspection of products in line with the specified Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Proven experience of working in a Quality Mechanical Inspector role.
Significant previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment using mechanical measuring equipment.
Proven ability to use a wide range of hand measuring tools and other inspection equipment including a CNC CMM.
Microsoft Office skills, including the creation of Excel spreadsheets.
Good command of the English language and very articulate
