Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive History lessons across Key Stages
* Teach History up to GCSE level, ensuring curriculum coverage and progression
* Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with national standards
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning through strong classroom management skills
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Contribute to the development of a dynamic and ambitious Humanities department
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
Ideal Candidate
* Holds QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge in History and related topics
* Experience teaching History up to GCSE level
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
* Passionate about inspiring students and bringing historical topics to life
* Skilled at engaging learners of all abilities
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
