Job Description Hiring: Senior Auditor Salary: £35000 (dependent on experience) Location: Lancaster/Hybrid working available Due to continued growth, an established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join its audit team. The Role This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure to a wide range of clients and industries. You will be heavily involved in audit fieldwork and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments. Key responsibilities include : Planning and completing audit assignments from start to finish Conducting audit fieldwork both remotely and on client premises (including occasional overnight stays) Preparing statutory financial statements from client records Reporting completed audit files directly to the Responsible Individual (RI) Developing and managing strong client relationships Assisting with the training and development of junior team members Building and managing your own portfolio of clients over time About You ACA / ACCA / CA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar audit role Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP Experience auditing clients across a range of industries Previous experience in a small or medium-sized accountancy practice preferred Full UK driving licence required Benefits Hybrid and flexible working options Nearby parking provided Ongoing CPD and professional development One annual subscription paid to a professional body (e.g. ICAEW / ACCA) Health insurance KPI-related bonus scheme after 6 months.
