We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work full time in schools across Godalming, supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
This role involves supporting pupils in the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping them access learning in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. Opportunities are available in both mainstream and specialist SEN settings.
The Role
* Support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health needs
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence
* Provide tailored support to meet individual learning needs
* Support pupils’ wellbeing and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate
* Passionate about SEN and inclusive education
* Patient, empathetic and resilient
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Previous SEN or school experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
