Total Platform at NEXT is an exciting new business-to-business online service that offers brands a full solution for eCommerce, including website, warehousing, logistics, customer care, marketing and customer data management. We let brands focus on their product and creative, and we drive their new online business forward including innovations, sales, operations and technology developments. The role As an eCommerce Product Assistant, you will be the product expert driving the success for your Total Platform partner, leading the charge to create standout product pages that captivate customers and boost trade performance! Owning every element of PDP - from compelling titles and imagery to smart recommendations and upselling, you’ll innovate constantly to elevate traffic and conversion rates. Using sharp data insights and customer behaviour analysis, you’ll spot game-changing opportunities, lead bold tests and shape a seamless, inspiring customer journey. Always one step ahead, you’ll monitor competitors, champion fresh ideas, and spearhead initiatives from PDP to checkout, powering continuous growth and breakthrough results! What else is involved? Own the funnel from PDP onwards, regularly monitoring KPIs like conversion, ATB rate, returns, traffic, and sales. Deliver weekly trading updates to stakeholders highlighting key insights and issues. Analyse PDP data to identify trends, user behaviors, and improvement areas. Use insights to optimise conversion and reduce returns, sharing best practices with the team. Serve as the product expert for your Total Platform partner. Understand trends, optimise product presentation on-site, lead product meetings and present eCommerce updates to senior management. Utilise RIO reports to maximise product findability and conversion. Collaborate with data and marketing teams to optimise imagery, item titles, colour names, groupings, descriptions, PDP banners, intel recs & overall PDP UX. Own the end-to-end item data flow from TP partner setup to live launch. Work with production to ensure timely, optimised listings, whilst diagnosing any issues and training internal stakeholders on best practices. Assist business owners in drafting requirements and driving projects across PDP, favourites, shopping bag, registration and checkout. Provide weekly trade reports and proactively identify in-week opportunities to meet customer needs. Share successes and key learnings. Lead test-and-learn initiatives to enhance the customer journey post-PDP, focusing on ATB, conversion, traffic and profitable sales growth. Drive ideation and developments to improve product sales and performance for your TP partner and translate ideas into actionable improvements. Monitor competitor activity and conduct UX research, recommend and test new features to keep the site competitive, reporting results to senior stakeholders. Collaborate to raise and promptly resolve product-related issues and remove conversion blockers. Stay updated on eCommerce trends and challenges - embrace change with a positive attitude, constantly seeking ways to improve processes and team effectiveness.
