We're hiring and on the lookout for someone to join our wonderful creative team in Brighton Job title: Marketing & Creative Operations Manager Department: Brand Marketing Reports to: Creative Director The Role: We are looking for a high-energy, commercially minded Marketing & Creative Operations Manager to bridge the gap between business strategy and creative execution. This is a ‘hub’ role. You will sit at the intersection of Product, Commercial, and Creative, across both Lucy & Yak and L&Y, ensuring that our marketing efforts connect with our community, but are driving the right products at the right time. You will be the engine room of the marketing department - the person who turns high-level commercial goals into actionable creative briefs that put creativity and community at their heart. Responsibilities: 1. Commercial and Product Alignment Strategic Sync: Act as the primary marketing liaison for the Product team to understand stock levels, launch cycles, and; ‘must-sell’ priorities, across both Lucy and Yak and L&Y. Promo Planning: Collaborate on the promotional calendar, determining which mechanics (discounts, bundles, exclusives) will best move the needle for specific product lines. Performance Tracking: Keep a pulse on commercial actions to ensure marketing output is reacting to real-time business needs. Management of full product and marketing calendar - being the owner of all activity across both brands. Working collaboratively with brand team, VM etc… for alignment of full season. 2. Creative Project Management Brief Ownership : Take commercial and creative requirements from around the business and translate them into crystal-clear briefs for the copywriting and design teams. Workflow Orchestration : Manage the end-to-end production pipeline, ensuring the creative team has the assets, information, and time they need to succeed. Deadline & Budget Control : Ensure every project is delivered on time and within budget. You are the ‘gatekeeper’ of the department’s capacity. Freelance Management : Source, brief, and manage external contractors and freelancers, overseeing their hours and ensuring their output meets our brand standards. What You’ll Bring: Have a minimum of at least 5 years in a Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or Creative Project Manager role. Have the ‘Translator’ Skill: You can talk ROI and Margins with the Product team and ‘Vibe and Typography’ with the Design team. Be a systems thinker: Proficient in project management tools to keep the whole department visible and accountable. Have commercial acumen: You understand that a campaign is only successful if it aligns with inventory and commercial targets. Have resource management: Proven experience managing creative workflows and external freelancers/agencies.
