Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a range of maintenance duties to cover mechanical, electrical machinery and equipment.
* To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant program.
* Proactively identify and remedy equipment maintenance issues, to avoid equipment downtime.
* Using welding and fabrication expertise to create / repair equipment and structures.
* Servicing of electrical, mechanical and non-technical equipment.
* To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
* Maintain appropriate records in line with requirements.
* Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
* Ensure all works are completed and closed within the agreed timeframe.
* Sourcing and ordering of spare parts as required to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained in accordance with client requirements.
* Work in compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
* Ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with all current regulations.
* Carry out PPM's on equipment as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* At least 3 years' relevant experience.
* Mechanical Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
* Experience working in a manufacturing/construction/Facilities environment.
* Formal training / certification in any of the above.
* Basic computer knowledge essential.
* Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
