The Role
The University is replacing its Finance system with a new ERP platform. The Business Process Owner (BPO) exists to ensure that the end‑to‑end cash management, banking and treasury operations processes work accurately and in line with University requirements when the system goes live.
The BPO will define requirements, make process decisions and ensure the system configuration supports how the University of Portsmouth operates, working closely with the ERP programme team, system implementors and stakeholders. They will also lead data migration, user acceptance testing and training for their area of responsibility.
Working pattern: full time (possibility for reduced hours). Hybrid working available with a few days in Portsmouth a week. Interviews are anticipated 5 May 2026 – 15 May 2026. This appointment is a fixed‑term contract until 29 October 2027.
