To provide a multi-skilled Electrical &Mechanical service provision for the Estates Department to all Client departments and Directorates. Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, where required, and work unsupervised. Must demonstrate total commitment, versatility and flexibility whilst undertaking all tasks and delegated work as instructed by Operations and Project Officers and Supervisor. To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries. Understand the complete workings and operation of all building services Mechanical & Electrical plant and equipment located in NHS buildings. Install, service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate advanced Mechanical & Electrical plant and equipment. Deal with new situations as they arise and impart knowledge onto others to further their development.
Undertake training as and when required to obtain, maintain and develop skills and knowledge base. Ordering of stores/materials as and when required.
