An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrical Shift Technician to join a state-of-the-art critical Data Centre operation based in Northolt. Working within a high-performing engineering team, you will play a key role in maintaining essential infrastructure across a technically advanced and fast-paced environment.
This position is ideally suited to an electrically qualified engineer with previous experience in critical environments such as data centres, banking, healthcare, or large-scale commercial buildings.
The Role Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across critical electrical systems
Operating and maintaining HV/LV infrastructure, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and associated plant equipment
Responding to faults, alarms, and emergency breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
Supporting site compliance and ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
Assisting specialist subcontractors and ensuring service delivery standards are maintained
Accurately completing maintenance reports, logbooks, and operational documentation
Candidate Requirements Fully electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
Previous experience working within a critical xxuwjjq environment is highly desirable
Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services and critical infrastructure systems
Confident fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Able to work a continental days and nights shift pattern
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance operations
