Job Opportunity: Working Foreman - Fit Out - Holborn
Are you a skilled and hands-on Working Foreman with a strong background in commercial fit-outs and carpentry? Looking for a new challenge where you can both lead a team and work on the tools? Randstad is partnering with a well-established contractor specializing in high-quality commercial fit-outs, with a particular focus on bespoke solutions. They are seeking a highly competent Working Foreman to lead a project near Holborn, ensuring the delivery of meticulous finishes and efficient on-site operations.
Responsibilities
* Work on the tools to install tea points, erect stud walls, and complete other fit-out tasks.
* Lead and supervise a team of subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
* Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and company procedures on-site.
* Manage site logistics, including deliveries and material storage.
* Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure all workmanship and materials meet project specifications.
* Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, design team, and other stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
* Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or delays.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Working Foreman with a strong background in fit-out.
* Essential experience with tea point construction and partitioning is required.
* A trade background in carpentry or joinery is highly desirable.
* A hands-on, proactive, and problem-solving approach to site management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certificate (or SSSTS) are preferred.
* Must be able to commute to the Holborn area.
