£28,000 £30,000 Per Annum
Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Transport Operator to join a busy and growing transport operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport, logistics, or driver coordination experience who enjoys problem-solving, working in a fast-paced environment, and supporting drivers to ensure smooth daily operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of a small team of drivers, ensuring operational issues are dealt with efficiently while maintaining excellent communication across the transport function.
Duties Will Include:
1. Managing and supporting a small team of drivers
2. Assisting drivers with operational issues and delays
3. Problem solving and reacting quickly to changing situations
4. Monitoring deliveries and vehicle movements
5. Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal departments
