Are you a passionate Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician ready to take on your next challenge and join a fast-paced F1 team? This is your chance to play a critical role in the continuous improvement of our vehicle and shape our future.
As a Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for trimming, fitting, and bonding carbon fibre components working on a weekday night shift pattern.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Trimming composite material using specialised hand and power tools, following dimensions and tolerances from engineering drawings.
* Fitting composite components for bonded assemblies.
* Bonding and assembling composite components according to company procedures and standards.
* Performing composite repairs, such as filling voids or repairing damage, using appropriate techniques.
* Conducting self-inspections of finished parts to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and procedures.
* Collaborating with other departments to optimize workflow, meet targets, and improve quality.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment, following 5S and LEAN principles.
* Adhering to data capturing processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
We seek a Composite Trimmer/Fitter Technician with the following skills and experience:
* Experience in trimming and assembly, preferably in F1.
* Ability to trim composites components to precise dimensions.
* Understanding of adhesive specifications and properties.
* Knowledge of surface preparation for composite bonding.
* Proficiency in composite repair techniques.
