Responsibilities
* Deliver the AQA A-Level Psychology (7182) curriculum across two years, demonstrating deep expertise in all specified topic areas: Approaches, Social Influence, Research Methods, Memory, Attachment, Biopsychology, Psychopathology, Issues and Debates, Relationships, Schizophrenia, and Forensic Psychology.
* Ensure all lessons are based on a carefully constructed, sequenced, and ambitious curriculum, taught in a traditional way that focuses on mastery and retention.
* Secure exceptional progress and attainment for every pupil, preparing them for highly competitive university courses.
* Contribute to the school’s pupil elective and enrichment programme, engaging actively in the life of the school with integrity and diligence.
* Maintain the school’s culture of exceptional behaviours and attitudes for learning in all lessons.
Requirements
* A degree in Psychology or a closely related Social Science and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Demonstrable expertise and experience teaching the AQA A-Level Psychology specification (7182).
