About The Job
We seek a motivated, sharp, customer-focused Copy Manager to define and lead our brand voice and copywriting efforts, supporting our subscription-based brand's growth in delivering better meat and seafood. This role involves managing all copy, from website landing pages to email campaigns and social ads, requiring language skills, storytelling, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, authentic, and humble.
Our marketing team offers a hybrid work model, with in-office collaboration twice a week in Watertown, MA, including strategy sessions, walks, and catered lunches.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Copy Strategy & Execution (60%): Lead development of customer-facing copy across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand identity and objectives.
* Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%): Manage and mentor copywriters, coordinate with creative and marketing teams, and ensure brand consistency.
* Brand Voice Development (15%): Define and refine the brand voice, collaborating with brand and mission teams for positioning and messaging frameworks.
* Optimization & Process Improvement (5%): Use data to improve copy performance, optimize workflows, and identify new communication opportunities.

* 5+ years as a copywriter, with 2+ years managing teams.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating voice and creativity.
* Experience in digital content, landing pages, email, SMS, and campaigns.
* Excellent editing, proofreading, and brand consistency skills.
* Familiarity with analytics and customer insights.
* Passion for premium consumer experiences.
Salary range: $108,000 - $120,000/year.
