What you will need
• British Citizen
• Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Level 3 qualification or Apprenticeship
• Experienced in reading and interpreting assembly drawings and planning instructions
• Skilled in inspecting mechanical hardware for damage and build integrity
Salary and rewards
Up to £43,000 plus an annual performance-related bonus, a pension scheme with contributions up to 14 per cent, and flexible working arrangements
What you will be doing
• Inspect and certify mechanical builds, from small fixtures to complex systems
• Ensure all manufacturing documentation is complete and accurate
• Maintain high workmanship and product quality standards
• Collaborate with Operators, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges
• Support programme targets on time, cost and quality
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Your experience
• Practical experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with ESD and FOD awareness is advantageous
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under deadlines
• Able to produce work to very high standards
