- £20 per hour DOE About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plant Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Bury.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
In order to apply for this job you MUST have the following: Requirements: Proven experience as a Plant Mechanic or Fitter.
Strong understanding of plant machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and effectively.
Work to high standards in line with health and safety regulations.
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
Support team members and contribute to a safe, productive workplace.
