Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: February 2026
A well-regarded primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from February 2026. With a focus on inclusivity and whole-child development, the school offers a supportive environment where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential.
This long-term position is open to experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact on their students’ education and development.
The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will create a dynamic, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and academic growth in your pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a range of learning abilities and styles
Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement in the classroom
Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum development
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development
Contribute to extracurricular activities and the broader school community
What We’re Looking For
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant placements will be considered)
Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills and reflective teaching practice
Passion for nurturing children’s academic and personal development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
