Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Luton
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DoE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, with some flexibility

This highly successful company are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their small team creating mechanical solutions that support both engineering and production teams. Your work will focus on delivering high-performance, export-ready equipment tailored to meet the demands of global manufacturing. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and creativity will directly contribute to the companys ongoing growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:
1. Lead the design of Mechanical Solutions from initial concept to finalised technical drawings.
2. Create 3D Models and 2D Drawings of components used, prioritising Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Rotating Machinery, Drive Systems, Linear Motion, and Automation.
3. Work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure that all designs align with both engineering standards and commercial objectives.
