We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Piano / Keyboard Tutor to lead an after-school Keyboard Club at a primary school in Cheltenham. This role gives children the opportunity to develop their musical skills, build confidence, and enjoy learning to play the keyboard in a supportive and creative environment.
The club runs once a week for 1 hour (after school, day to be confirmed – Mondays or Thursdays).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and engage small groups of primary-aged children in fun, structured keyboard sessions.
* Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate lessons that develop rhythm, coordination, and musical understanding.
* Encourage creativity, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of music.
* Maintain clear and friendly communication with parents and school staff about children's progress.
* Ensure instruments and teaching spaces are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
* Experience teaching piano or keyboard to children in schools, clubs, or private settings.
* Ability to motivate and inspire children in a positive and engaging way.
* Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and school staff.
* A background in music education, performance, or teaching is highly desirable.

Pay: £35.00 per hour
