Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be supporting a well known business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a full time Accounts Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support to deliver the timely and accurate production of the monthly financial statements and associated financial set reporting to the UK leadership team and Corporate teams
Manage and ensure 100% compliance in expenses
Manage the company car fleet and insurance
Treasury management, including bank reconciliations
Ensuring Accounting policies and controls are continuously reviewed maintained and policed
Cashflow reporting and forecasting
Tax planning and reporting, incl VAT
Support on internal audits, including management of resulting action plans
Work with the wider finance team to deliver on annual external audit
Manage, organise and deliver key information for annual R&D claim
Ensure all GB policies are actively enforced and new/amended policies are appropriately rolled out/communicated to the relevant stakeholders
Person Specification:
Strong ethos of responsibility and accountability
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects/initiatives through to completion
Technically skilled and mathematically inclined
Effective written and oral communication skills
A dynamic and ambitious individual who will embrace a hands-on role
