Job Description
Employment Lawyer. Big 4. 9 month assignment. 8++ PQE
We are currently working with one of the Big 4 on their search for an In House Employment Lawyer for a 9 month assignment. The role is to start ASAP. The team operates on a hybrid working pattern with one anchor day per week in the London office. However, there may be instances where more is required.
The successful employment lawyer can expect to be involved in advising the business on the employment elements within contractual agreements; corporate transactions; managing claims, disputes, grievances, and disciplinary matters; TUPE; and advising on internal policies and procedures. Interest and experience in advising on a full range of employment advisory, litigation and corporate support matters is important.
The successful individual will join a team of 6 and will handle their own caseload. Guidance will be provided by a Legal Director within the team when required, but the successful individual will be expected to be capable of operating independently with gravitas.
Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate:
1. Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for instance) with relevant UK experience
