ASB OfficerManchesterFull TimeTemporaryAre you an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer looking for your next opportunity in Manchester? We are working with a Housing Association client seeking a dedicated professional to investigate, manage, and resolve cases of anti-social behaviour while building strong partnerships to improve community safety. THE ROLEIn this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving anti-social behaviour cases, working closely with residents, communities, and partner agencies to create safer neighbourhoods.Key responsibilities include:
* Investigating and managing reports of anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, and hate crime.
* Preparing and presenting cases for legal action, including court attendance when required.
* Providing support and assistance to victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour.
* Working in partnership with internal teams, local authorities, police, and other agencies.
* Identifying and supporting vulnerable customers, including those at risk of tenancy failure.
* Maintaining accurate records on housing management systems and preparing statistical reports.
* Supporting the delivery of neighbourhood strategy and community safety initiatives.
THE CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong track record in managing ASB cases from investigation to resolution.You will also have:
* Experience of delivering community safety or ASB services within housing or local authority sectors.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to ASB.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with challenging situations professionally.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a demanding caseload.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management IT systems.
THE CONTRACTWorking Hours – 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Length of Contract – 3 Month temporary contract, potential for extensionRate The pay range for the role is £22.93 to £24.38 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £19.68 to £20.92 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
