Description
Backline Logistics Plymouth are looking for a HGV Class 1/ Category C+E tramper driver working Tuesday-Saturday with 4 nights out per week, starting and finishing in Ivybridge, Devon.
This role includes handball, you will be expected to load/unload your own vehicle.
You will get paid for a minimum of 48 hours per week paid at £ per hour, hours after this are paid at £ per hour. A location allowance of £ per week and £36 night allowance is paid each night out. The minimum weekly wage will be £
This role is a temporary to permanent position.
Requirements:
1. Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence
2. Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
3. Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
4. Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
5. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
6. Good knowledge of UK road networks
7. A professional and positive attitude
8. Good communication skills
9. Complete training as required
