About the role
The University of Bath’s Digital, Data and Technology department (DDaT) is responsible for the efficient delivery of IT infrastructure, digital products, and services, playing a vital part in enabling the University’s staff, students, and researchers to achieve its strategic goals.
This IT Lead Project Manager role is a key part of the University’s DDaT Team, reporting to the Head of IT Portfolio Management.
As IT Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of projects, including requirements gathering, drafting the business case, defining solutions that meet user needs, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery, with a focus on best-in-class delivery and in-life management.
You will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management Office to embed project lifecycle management and assurance, provide effective project reporting within DDaT and to external stakeholders, and manage project teams and stakeholder engagement.
